The Christ of Havana, majestic statue of 20 meters high depicting Jesus of Nazareth, rises imposingly on the hill of La Cabaña at the entrance of Havana Bay. Out of the hands of the Cuban sculptor Jilma Madera, was blessed by Pope Pius XII and inaugurated in 1958.
Tourism Complex Las Terrazas is a natural paradise located in the Biosphere Reserve Sierra del Rosario, just 60km west of Havana, from where you can make the trip in less than an hour car. This green paradise offers visitors a zone rich in flora and fauna, historical sites, lakes, rivers, waterfalls and presence of a population establishment of about 1000 inhabitants, the actors in this unique rural experience of sustainable development in Cuba.
This small but pleasant park is located in the heart of Old Havana, near the channel entrance to the Bay of Havana. It opened in 2001 and is presided by a statue in honor Tsunenaga Hasekura Samurai, the first Japanese to set foot on Cuban soil in 1614.
